Plot: Joy Lemone is tired of being a nobody and ready to give up on life. Just as she musters up the guts to end it all, an unlikely masked thug threatens to do it for her. When his identity is revealed, however, the two misfits devise a plan to turn an unintentional hostage crisis into frontpage news that will make them both famous.

Against The Wind - Two Act Drama

Plot: It is Thanksgiving Day, only two weeks after the death of the Gallo family matriarch. At the play's open, we learn that Joe is planning to marry Laura, who is pregnant and has recently moved into the Gallo family home with her daughter Frankie. As they prepare for the arrival of Laura's parents, Gene and Tom, the tension mounts between Joe and his father Sal over Joe's dubious engagement to Laura and the future of the family home. As the dysfunction in Laura's family gradually surfaces, it causes Joe's own secrets to surface, rendering him powerless over the world he has worked so hard to control.
