You have to write to write.

It has to be bad at some point in order to make it better.

At a point, writing exercises become a way to avoid writing.

A piece of paper in hand makes pausing in a doorway more realistic.

Not all of writing is writing. In fact, it's even less than that.

Creating a totally new world is not a form of avoiding the world I live in but rather understanding it better than I did before.
